Cows are herbivores. Cows produce methane gas causing global warming. Need less cows.
Vegans are herbivores. Vegans produce methane gas causing global warming.
Need less vegans so we can eat the cows.

Well not much for a thought for me but maybe for the people who own there tree services don't take advantage of the people you rely on to fix you're *s-word because there's repercussions of doing so I just sent one packing today and it really sucked because I really like the guy but unfortunately he left me no choice I gave him every opportunity that I could so all I can say is hope he finds himself and gets his life straighten out or hell find out most guys aren't as nice as I was with him.

I don't know how Christmas lights work. I have a 3 wire string, how can a bulb that doesn't light still transfer power to the rest of the string, when if it is removed, a portion of the string goes out. The particular bulb completes a series circuit, so I don't see how it can no light, but still be essential for lighting the others.

This makes me feel stupid

Now I'm going to sound like a nerd..... But at the base of every bulb there is what I believe is called a shunt??? Basically a secondary. It is what allows current to pass. It may actually carry the load depending on how new your lights are. On the newer lights the filament is the secondary I believe. The old lights would get brighter if you removed a couple bulbs here and there. The newer ones don't do that anymore because the filament isn't what is carring the load.

I'm not a expert so don't hold me to any of that. My wife and kids have me string up the house enough to make clark griswald proud. So I've had to pick up a little along the way.

60 degree Christmas day spent most of the midday burning junk wood, damp leaf bags & stuff, had the colored eggs already but the kids in costumes never came by for them. On the other side of the situation, thank goodness nobody showed up with geen beer to share, can't tolerate that crap any more.

Desktop PC just froze up for no apparent reason other than running Windows. o_O
I had to push the reset button.

Hopefully just a hiccup, PC is still young at close to 16 years since I assembled it myself from individually picked components!
One last upgrade is in the works, should help get a couple more years out of it. ;)

Right now HL Supply has a Chinese made MS200T starter assembly posted on "Deal of the Day". Now, why would they caption the listing as "Make IT Work"? Is it not working when I buy it. :risas3:
Why do You think it's on sale?! :p

Please don't ban me, I'd have to go back to AS.

How to keep the PM's in order? o_O

I am trying to just have/keep one conversation with each individual participant.

Recently I am also trying to keep order by placing the participants user name in the title.

I found out that having a bunch of convos titled "drill bits" doesn't really help.
