The 361 is what you're thinking about - 36cc's. The 361 is a very strong saw. I was impressed when I used it.
The 390 is literally a miniaturized Echo 500P - even down to the cylinder design. So it isn't as revvy as the 361 or the 2511, but it has a boatload of torque. It pulls like a 50cc saw once it's in the wood. So much so, that with just a few mods like a perforated filter lid, and dual exhaust, I see no reason to get a 50cc saw.

The 390 is a pound less than the 500. The 361/355 another pound and a half less. So, pound for pound, the 361 is an angry saw. My issue with it is the 361 doesn't run 325 as well as I'd like, has tiny fluid capacity, and tiny filler caps, and 10mm clutch cover nuts. So it's more fiddly than I care for, and it really is a pruner. Whereas the 390 is good for a work saw for felling small trees and bucking them - standard sized filler holes and nuts, good fluid capacity, and still weighs nothing with loads of grunt.

361WES on the top of these saws, 390 top right, and dwarfing them both is the 241 in the pic.

Good stuff.
Do you know the hp of the 390, sounds like you're saying it weighs in at 10 lbs.

Dunno the HP. Before I removed the cat and the front muffler cover and screen, it came in at 10lbs 2.5 ounces. It's closer to 9lbs 12 ounces without the cat in it. Here it is on a kitchen scale.

Here it is kissing my 044, it's tiny in comparison;

Littlest one getting his mow on. When the real mower shuts off he runs over thinking its his turn. Hope he has this same gumption in a couple years.

Morning. That big cottonwood out in the middle has to be well over 120 feet.

No where near, its only 25cc lol. Its a pruning saw primarily.
Ported would get it closer. From what I've heard and seen they seem to be pretty easy to work on for a top handle.
Don't forget about these oldie but goodie Pooolans. 38cc of fun. Less than 10 lb powerhead. I had this one buried with an 18 inch bar for fun and it just kept on chugging. 11.9 lbs 18 inch bar , fueled and full of oil. Don't know why the pic went upside-down.

My son always wants a mower ride. He likes driving the zero turn.

(I dont mow with him, just drive around.)

They are zero fun to work on.
On a good note, the new L5P duramax is too tall. It won't fit, so it's gas only in them now.
Not sure if they will get the new 6.6 gasser coming in the 2500 trucks.

Tell us more about this 6.6 gasser! Im interested to see how the 7.3 ford gasser is going to do.

400hp/460tq if my memory serves.
Based off the current 6.2, but they increased stroke. I think. Pretty sure I saw that bore was the same.
Being that its intended for the 3/4-1 tons, no AFM bullchit.
