How is your hay this year Tony? We are about 60% yield of what we normally get. Farmers are cutting everything they can get their hands on here.

We are down as well. Colder than normal spring without the rain we needed seemed to put us behind. Dropped a coin on fertilizer and will be getting the fields sprayed as well to get rid of some weeds. We did a hard cull and moved everything to my place this fall/winter so don't need as much hay unless it all dries up.

So what do you do about that? I would imagine it’s not good to get it in the bales?
That's a honest question. Nothing to date yet. It's loe enough that it does not get cut by the mowers.

Your right. It would not be good to get it in the bales.
