We need (maybe it's a want) details!

Looks like a fun build.
Really is a random bunch of pictures.

The cam is a GM LT4 hot cam for a SBC that we are building for my grandson's fox body Mustang.

The car is an Acura Integra that my grandson is tinkering on.

The black engine on the stand is a 5.7 Mercruiser Marine engine (350 Chevy) that I'm building to go in my Dodge Dakota.

We just picked up the parts for the 355. .030 roller block 350, decked, threaded galley plugs, new cam bearings, freeze plugs, etc. Vortec heads, shaved .020, 3 angle valve job, screw in studs and guide plates, guides cut down for valve lift clearance, new springs retainers, etc.

Sounds like a blast! Projects like this are (for me) tinker toys. Never any rush. I hate having to rush when doing a build like that.

Makes me even more itchy to start mine. But going to wait till most of the parts needed are on hand.

Are you helping your grandsons with their projects? I'm willing to bet you are.

Did some stuff to ol Clifford.

Had to fix some rust before the heat shielding and rubber mat went in.

Jonathon replaced the window run rubber and door panels while I was cutting and welding.

Didn't get the mat all trimmed and the door seals in....was hot and I petered out.

Yes, exposed rebar is a no no. Some places and inspectors would fail that. Makes you wonder what else is done wrong you can't see?

Depending on the project, before the walls, peers, or floors can be closed/poured, the rebar has to be inspected by an inspector.
