Got a call from a great uncle that asked if i wanted some junk to free up space in his garage.
All was free vut the little stihl. I seen it so figured i would ask about it. He said he didnt know yet so i said would 50 bucks change your mind and he says get it out of here lol.
One mans junk is another mans treasure lol
And like alway. Everything ran when parked.

Cleaned up the Homelite. Actually an XL12 and not an SXL like I originally thought

Found that popping noise.

And made a "fix".


One gear is hooked to a mag brake and the other to the unwind.

Granted I pointed out a month a go that the gears were shot but of course I got the ol "what do you mean it's worn out?"

Guy brought his bike in for charging issues. Replaced stator & r/r. Crack open the air filter to remove box to get to wires and


WTH, no complaints of loss of powa?
Stator was extra crispy.
