The sign is 2 sided. Had thought about taking the other side out. It's a present from my wife so leaving alone for now. Glycol in floor. Propane boiler. Boiler and and plumbing was about 3k. IBC is the boiler, like it so far. Tubing and insulation in floor was left over from another job. Be about $500 in tubing and $1200 in foam.
Wow, you have an awesome wife :icon12:.
I figure if I can find one for around 300-350 with two faces I can sell one face and then cut the frame in half build a back plate and use LEDs to light them. If not I could just buy the extrusion from a local sign supply house for the husky sign, but then I wouldn't get a stihl sign. I'd probably be alright without it though lol.

That's not bad at all. BIL had 3 k into his tubing insulation and the manifold, the footprint isn't as big as I want to build either$$$$.
Is glycol what everyone uses for a closed loop, I know nothing about them.
Wonder what it will cost a yr to heat the place.
Do you do that type of work then?
Thanks for the info.
Here's the basics for mine. There will be no man door on the end, and the main 12 up door will be about 4' from the wall the man door in the print/rendering is near, I want enough room for shelving down that side and no outside access from a man door for security.

Just got it back home from my sons place. Cleared out a bunch of privet hedge that came up in the drainage ditch. It was causing their back yard to flood, which is coincidentally where their septic tank is. Finally stopped raining, but man it was still soft. Sank to the skids in a couple spots, but kept going thankfully.
Used the Poulan S25DA to cut everything. Every time I use it that thing impresses me.View attachment 229407

I have used 250 gallons of propane so far this winter. I started off with a propane construction heater in December on the tank. I had bought the glycol because I didn't want to chance freezing a loop on startup. My building is 40x50x16 with r60 in the ceiling and r25 in the walls. 18x14 door. No weatherstriping on door yet. My father in law builds commercial buildings. Mainly self storage now.

That's not not too bad.
That makes sense, appreciate the info, need to learn it.
Just stopped and talked a bit with a concrete guy whose a couple miles from the house, his price may be a bit cheaper than I was calculating so that would be good.

@Dub11 @chipper1 I just watched this video about farmers wanting to being able to work on their equipment without having to pay John Deere for the software.

Yeah the same over here big hp teactors from the 90's and early2000's are holding good money on the used market and parts are readily available

I saw a couple here in SD this week too...flocks of blackbirds and snow geese as well. The migratory birds are finally filtering back in.

I bet I saw 20 of these big buggers today. They follow the snow geese migration.

Not sure if it's a new fad or what but I've passed several vehicles recently with this sticker....

And there was a saw in there!

Yanked the limiters off the carb and ran out of time before the school bus dropped my son off. Hope to make a few cuts with it tomorrow.

Congrats, been wanting to try one of those.
Will you trim the tabs and put them back in. Ran one of the 346's this evening and needed to tweak the carb a bit since it was probably ran last in the summer. The rubber guide/seal is gone as is the covers, so off comes the filter cover :(.
Got it done, but...
