They run well when it's cold out, and in the early morning when the ads are real cold it's like riding a dirt bike in the sand if you have enough power :b1:. Unfortunately if you're not ready for it it can bring on a harsh reality in a flash .

Roads are still deep with sand/salt or patchy ice around here. And when the tires wash out on a corner, planting a leg when on a Harley doesnt usually end well for your leg, or the bike.

It will be a bit before my scoot sees the roads here

I know that's right, I like to wait until the first good rain, now I do what I can to stay off bikes, its better that way.

Welcome.
How did you guys meet.

We were both on Kik messenger and were a members of the same chatroom. I liked what she had to say and she liked what I had to say so we just started messaging each other. After about 2 days we both knew we were in love. She came to see me back in late December / early January for 21 days and it was the best time of my life.

The day after Christmas I proposed and she accepted. Yes it was too cliché to give her an engagement ring on Christmas day so I had to wait to the day after.

The day she left we applied for her a K1 Visa so she can move to America. It was a boatload of money, time, and paperwork. We still have maybe 8 months left to know whether she will be approved or not. If not, I'll just move there to Vienna. It's going to be a culture shock for her moving from a large metropolitan area ranked the most livable city in the world, to rural Southeast Georgia. She liked it while she was here though.

Seen this at the junkyard today and thought of Wayne. Bunch of shafts falling out the back door! :D

That reminds me of an old boy that owned a junk yard that I worked for in high school. He had about 60 rear axles (mostly 60's and 70's Chevy pickup axles)
stacked up in an old 37' refrigerated trailer. I asked him "But what if someone wants one of the ones on the bottom?"
He got a big smile and said "Well, I guess they have to buy the whole lot!"

That's great. Hope it all works out with the visa, it's kinda tough right now. I would also go for citizenship if it won't ruin hers in Austria since right now the US doesn't require you to give up other citizenship to become a citizen here as far as I know.

View attachment 229309 View attachment 229310 Have to take lift back so finished up. Hung the two signs we have had sitting around in storage.
They look real good. Is the stihl a two sided sign, I want a stihl two sided to cut in half, sell one face and use the other Frame half for my husky sign.
What are you using for coolant in the floor, natural gas?
Mind if I ask how much you have into the whole system 5-6k,

Yesterday about 40 min after the sunrise pictures heading west.
Still managed to get a tank thru the 550, made 3 full buckets of small (2-8") black locust, only one more 5.5'x4'row and the woodshed is full for next yr :b1:. If things dry out today I'll head out for more, this time bigger wood that needs to be split as I got most the smaller stuff off the trails edges yesterday.

Just got it back home from my sons place. Cleared out a bunch of privet hedge that came up in the drainage ditch. It was causing their back yard to flood, which is coincidentally where their septic tank is. Finally stopped raining, but man it was still soft. Sank to the skids in a couple spots, but kept going thankfully.
Used the Poulan S25DA to cut everything. Every time I use it that thing impresses me.0308201455.jpg

The sign is 2 sided. Had thought about taking the other side out. It's a present from my wife so leaving alone for now. Glycol in floor. Propane boiler. Boiler and and plumbing was about 3k. IBC is the boiler, like it so far. Tubing and insulation in floor was left over from another job. Be about $500 in tubing and $1200 in foam.
