Got a present today. Never had invader coffee before.

Yesterday watched a couple of deer swim across a lake. Reminded me of the one time I saw an emu fly. Even if it was straight down from a bluff.

Went for a walk through the bush were i cut wood at. Lot of blowdowns this year.
Was hoping to maybe find a rabbit but no luck lol.
Ther was a real nice log i think they missed when they logged it. Perfectly straight ready to go. Maybe ill get it sonetime and get the chainsaw mill out.

How did the emu fare...was it able to get enough wind draft to NOT be dashed to smithereens??

Missed all the rocks and bobbed back up. Dad and I watched it swim over to a sloped bank and head off like it was fine. Dogs chased it off the bluff and at first we thought it was a deer.
