Cleaning up after some hoggin'

View attachment 258076
Nice, I need him to come blow my new(to me) ride off :). Any one want to buy an exmark, unfortunately I can't keep them all :crybaby2:. I just spent a bunch of cash to get everything fixed on it and I even bought 6 new blades so I could make it through next mowing season. The good thing is I got a great deal on this bota so I'm not to disappointed :D. I was told there was a problem with the hydrostatic transmission, but I can't get it to act up at all, I'm wondering if the clutch was acting up from sitting since last fall and now its getting whatever surface rust off it. Whatever it is I hope it stays working as the guy told me a new trans is 3800 and another 1000 if I have the dealership install it.

That's great.
Do you have to add def fluid to that one.
My excursion went from 10 today up to 10.2mpg, doing great lol.
That's all with the landscape trailer, busting it down the highway pretty good to get that Kubota and then hauling it home flying as well, then back roads with a lot of stop signs today hauling the tractor to a buddy's. I worked the heck out of it over there after mowing the yard here for about an hr and I can't get it to slip or even act up :nusenuse:.

Got that little new holland for 500 because it wouldn't move. Same deal its a hydrostat. Started to tear it apart and found a torn oring on the exterior suction line. Put an o ring on it and has been fine for 3 years now! 4600 hours and counting!

It’s a 19 so it has DEF. the last time I seen numbers this good was winter time. It’s been around 19-20 at best for a while with summer blend fuel

I wasn't sure if some of the newer ones had gotten rid of it. How long does that stuff last.
That's pretty good for a truck that can haul a real load.
So it does better on the winter blend, or the cooler air.

That's awesome!
Out of all the searching I've done I can't find a single person having one go out on this particular model. What I have seen is that guys have lost a line and then replaced it and had a plug in that line o_O, the other problems I've seen looking around is overheating(resolved by cleaning the screen and radiator), and problems starting or with the tractor creeping because the hydro pedal linkage needed grease or had to thick of grease for the winter(I've experienced this and almost hit thing ).
I ran this little Kubota 2920(29hp :b1:) in high range and it starts off with no problem and flies down the road.
So far I'm very impressed with this machine. Bummer is I need to sell other things to afford to keep it , so is life, filled with decisions.

Shelf life of def in ideal conditions is roughly 1 year.
It's not going anywhere.
There was talk of it coming into use in some gasoline engines too.

Thanks.
I was thinking in lines of how much do you add to the vehicle per tank, like a quart per 25 gallons?
Or maybe 40:1 :pancarta:.
