My buddy is a retired millwright, he stick welded it on his back and had the perfect burn as you could see it coming thru on the top side as it burned the paint, great penetration! Those mower decks are not fun to weld I've had to do it a couple times on my GT 5000 I'm going to have to do some belt swaps myself. I need to pull the bearing on top of one of the spindle towers and replace it also the voltage regulator is gone after that it should be back in good shape. Ill keep fixing this one because the older ones still have a fabricated deck. My V10 is still running strong all new brake lines should haul plenty of more wood. Only thing I can figure with all these canceled orders is everyone repairing stuff because of this pandemic and the shortage of new equipment hopefully here soon the stock builds back up.

Did you see my v10, got it a few months ago. The root ball on the trailer I could only get off the ground bouncing the bucket and then I pushed it to the front of the trailer, there's also a row of white oak rds across the very front of the trailer, she rode home smooth.

Morning Todd how are things down under.I would smash my head on the bucket for sure Brett![]()
Would be kinda fun I think.
While the girls are a bit concerned(and rightly so) they have been out and about a bit more. My neighbor across the street has full grown birds and has no problems with the Hawks. Earlier this yr he had like 25 chics get eaten by coons when in the chicken tractor over night, what's funny is I had warned him there was a family of coons around(momma and 5 or 6 babies), he told me yeah they got in the house the other day and were eating the cats food, they didn't want me to shoot them![]()
.
Pic of my buddies truck you guys may like, he built it frame up and painted it.
He added the stickers to have a bit of fun.

Looks great.
That's a lot of hawks, ours are a good bit further from the house, but seen on a normal basis. We also have falcon here on occasion, but I haven't seen them this yr at our house/yard.
I may have to build a run, we'll give them a bit and see how they do.
A buddy asked me to get this coop out of a property he sold, he's now living in his rental for two yrs to avoid property gains taxes so I will be able to use it for a while, it seemed right to put chickens in it since it was here lol. Another buddy sells chickens and we have like 50 into everything at this point with a big bag of feed, feeder, and waterer so its a cheap experiment compared to other things I spend my money on.
He's going to start another one for one of his grandsons, I hope his grandson keeps it after my buddy does all the work as I'm pretty sure the kid won't do much, I hope I'm wrong though. That's a sweet truck, im a sucker for 80s and 90s Fords!
The chickens are a lot of fun, especially when you raise them from chicks. I've had mine for just about a year. I only have 4. Originally I had 5 but one wound up being rooster. Blood and guts aren't my thing so I wasn't gonna slaughter him, I listed him on CL for free and he was at a new home in a few hours. I'm all for the eggs though, I usually get 2-4 a day.

Yep, the kids have had a lot of fun with them, and it was actually a good experience for them to see the one come and go. The bummer is the one that was killed was my boys, he used to walk around with it on his shoulder, it was pretty cool.
I think we have at least one rooster, which I heard is good because he will keep and eye to the sky for his girls.
Not sure I posted this one, it's a nice black locust stick we had here at the house I put out by the coop for the chics to roost on. There's a few missing in this picture, the one that was dinner, and the two larger Easter Eggers.

The track and sprocket look almost new. That old girl has seen some recent repair work.I caught the Fiat-Allis dozer out in the open, hope the Dodge dump truck will show itself again.

Thanks, I know nothing about raising chickens. My buddy who raise them said the feed it really cheap in his town, I said, wait I have to feed them, next thing you're gonna say I need to give them water tooNice looking flock! Yeah a rooster can definitely be a good thing. I tried to keep my rooster around as long as I could; the crowing was hilarious and he was a really pretty bird, but 4 hens to 1 rooster isn't really enough IMO, especially if they aren't being free ranged. He was stressing the hens out and eventually he started getting aggressive with them. You shouldn't have that problem since your birds are free ranged and you've got a lot more hens.
Cool shots. Finally got some (lousy) shots of some of the hummingbirds.
