Got the motor for my Honda odyssey last weekend.
It's nearly done, waiting on a knock sensor that's supposed to arrive today may finish it up tomorrow. $120 at Auto Zone in stock lifetime Warranty, $60 takes two days to get LT warranty, or wait two days and get oem for 20. Needs KS, then the dr side axle, subframe support, steering knuckle(ball joint), to finish it up.
Drove out to Ohare airport west of Chicago to get the motor.

Saw a nice wood pile just west of downtown.

Saw this on CL the other day, I bet it's what they used to split all that wood lol.

I am guessing 50 years at the newest, and 70 at the oldest. These were really thick shakes, and the back side of the house shows almost no wear and probably an inch to 1-1/4 thick. We have replaced shingles that were 1/4 to 5/16 inch thick when new and they were worn 1/8 and only up for 20 years
These are 17 years old and rotting in spotsView attachment 239611View attachment 239612The newer cedar is getting worse, quality wise

maybe cut vs split?

Most are 117 on the load range index. The ones I’m looking at are 121, like my current Nittos... around 3,300 lbs max.

Maybe you have better roads where you live, but I’ve never gotten 25,000 miles out of any tires since the first 7.3 I bought new in 2002.

That might still be lower than needed. I never got any mileage until I started getting 125 and higher lid index. My fifth wheel balanced pretty close to the back still puts 7k on the rear axle and the flatbed puts 8-10k

Looks like red squirrel or Fox squirrel as we call them in Tennessee

Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
We call the fox squirrels here, the smaller ones are red squirrels.
The red ones get relocated here, they cause a lot of problems getting into stuff.
