Hungry bears?

No, errant mower operator. That section of road is lined with bush honeysuckle, an invasive species. They cut it back this week and hit the sign, notice the nick in the post. The vegatation was out in the roadway and apparently obscured the sign.

The mower is quite the machine. It is self contained with its own diesel engine and hydraulic pump. It is on a skid that attaches to the loader arms on a John Deere 544 wheel loader.

They were machined up on a Hermle 5 axis machine.
The mounts are for engine conversions. Duramax into Nissan Patrol 4x4
