I thought so with the coil rears and the 292. That transmission had me scratching my head. Very cool. Is that an MSD distributor?
Thanks! That dizzy is a Speedmaster 65K GM type. Pretty much a stock version but with a 65K coil. Had it on my old 292. May use a DUI instead on this new one.

Some of the 3500 series had a 305 or 351 6 cylinder option
Pretty obvious it was a 292 by the height ( they put a lot of them in Combines). Wasn't there a GMC truck in line six that was even bigger displacement?

From 1960-74 GM offered a line of V6 engines. Those being the 305 A-E series, 351 C and E, 379, 401, 401M, 432, 478M. All V6 engines. HUGE to say the least....big bore short stroke made for brute torque in the 1600 RPM range.
The 379 was a 351 with a 401 Crankshaft and the 432 was a 401 with a 478 crankshaft. GM offered a really big inline 6 for trucks in the 50's. 428, 505, 707 I believe were the numbers...they are so rare I can hardly find Any info on the internet.
All 1000 series had the 305 as an option.
The 1500 and 2500 had the 305E and 351C or E as an option.
The 3500 had the 305 and 351 as an option. And possibly the 401.
4500 and above would have the 401 and larger as options. The 379 came in the 70's to replace the 351 far as I know.
