1966 Chevy C10 chassis. 292 hotrod 6 mated to a tremec tko600 5 speed. Pulled it out and washed the frame down to get the inch of dust off. lol.
I thought so with the coil rears and the 292. That transmission had me scratching my head. Very cool. Is that an MSD distributor?

The way i tell the 292 over the 230/250 is it has a taller cover on the side of the block to get to the lifters .The newer ones had the dumb integral heads ,that is the good early type .

Pretty obvious it was a 292 by the height ( they put a lot of them in Combines). Wasn't there a GMC truck in line six that was even bigger displacement?

Some of the 3500 series had a 305 or 351 6 cylinder option

^^^^^^^^^ that's kewl ^^^^^^^^

Was the last "project" I vowed to take on, I had 500 hours in the body, not to mention the time putting it together and taking it apart half dozen times to make stuff fit.

985 hp at the rear wheels, and it was under driven by a long shot. Talk about a handfull. lol!
