Wayne, I wish I knew why it was so expensive. If I did I would try to manufacture my own to sell!
This fluid is only used to activate the clutch in the rear diff on some AWD systems.
The diff has its own fluid. The pump supplies this to the clutch to control torque to the wheels.

It's likely made from unicorn crap.

My 2005 focus used a specific trans fluid for the MTX75. Was 29 a quart! Capacity was 2.1 qts. Needless to say, it only got 2.

Please explain.

Guy brings his Equinox in. Says his blower was making noise.
He removed the cabin filter, which sits in the case above the blower.
He says he removed all the dog food from there.
Except, he didn't.
.He says now the blower wont work at all.
The cowl area is full of it too, and because gravity never doesn't work, when he pulled out the filter, it ended up in the motor.

I currently have the cowl off and about to fire up a shop vac to try and get all the dog food and corn out of there. Starting from the top and working down.
