Steve, I am at a point in life where I hate all cars equally, regardless of make, manufacturer or color.
The Ford dealer here in town is a total disaster. I went to grade school, middle, high school and even tech school with a guy that works there.

I for whatever reason always liked the mid to late Ford truck styles. Mine was a total pos, 400M, auto trans, but I liked it.
Before I jump into one though, perhaps I should finish my Chevelle that's I have owned for 12 years, drove around the block once, and have not touched in 4 years now..

Im doing a steering gear in a new style Colorado now.
You have to remove the right outer and inner tie rods to get it out.
Or remove the front diff.
Your choice..

I use a snapon 1/4 drive swivel socket. Takes me about 2 hours now. First one i almost threw something across the shop i got so frustrated!

Very true , also when manufacturers have there current models and just add on stupid stuff for EPA regulations

30+ Years ago Land Rover had a good Diesel engine 2.5 in the mk111 88” it smoked but pretty reliable not the fastest but a slugger when it came for its yearly MOT You just screwed the injector pump in cut down the diesel have it’s test And open her up again then in 1986 they brought out the 90” series
Some guy upstairs decided to keep the old engine stick a turbo on it and
Upgrade the pump , and nothing else too the engine there where so many failures and losing money hand over fist which carried on for years basically
Until Tata industries from India bought them out and at last there
Making a profit

The belt tension is determined by frequency.
