That happens, now you know how the bucking spikes het ripped out of the case, guys slamming wedges with them .
Humboldt notch can help with that also.
I didn't try the bar, I just couldn't get my fingertips in the kerf well enough to pull it out. Even with the pry bar it was quite a hefty chunk. I'm not much of a fan of beating the wedge with the bar. I'm just bad at it, bad aim. I prefer an axe which I now try to always keep with me.

Praise be to God.
I burnt my chance at the free college in 88', been going to the school of hard knocks ever since, still paying on it, so much so I get calls nearly every day telling me I can consolidate my student loans :icon_tfno::jaja-no:.
Thanks for sharing:beer-toast1:.
Much obliged Chipper!

Thanks, ya it looks like we are getting a mini version of winter here, it’s usually just rain! Lol
They are calling for 1/10 to 4/10" of ice with localized up to a half inch here tonight, winter weather advisory.
Went out a bit ago and pulled the wipers off the window and flipped them up, cleaned the snow off the wood tarps and hauled in everything from under one tarp(glad that ones done, I hate tarps, but like heat/dry wood). Tomorrow could be a real mess here even if we just het an 1/8" of ice it will be bad, may sell a few saws and a generator or two, then get some tree work.
Heres what the radar looked like a bit ago.

Got my 250r bottom end apart, wasn’t planning on taking it apart....but I decided to do a 4mm stroker and make sure everything else is good! One bold head was stripped, so I had to drill the head off, work well! Initiall inspection looks like 3rd gear on the main shaft is worn, going to have to clean everything and and do a full inspection, this is going to be a 363cc with a 2004 cr250 ignition along with the carb that has a throttle position sensor, that allows the cdi to change timing maps, should be a stout runner! I call the company that sells the cylinder and it’s another 2 weeks out, so I have time!

Just got 4" of snow last night, supposed to get another 8" tonorrow.
Should make for fun plowing.
You might want to stand by for buried plow truck pics..
Wish it would have been snow when it got here, it rained like mad, and a lot of it was freezing as it hit.
It's beautiful, just I'd rather have it be 25 and snowing 4 or 5" instead.
Heading out in it in a few, may have some more interesting pictures.

Before I jump in the buggy...I'm in deep reflection on my last day of Social Work Internship @ Impact Family Counseling.
I spent almost 500 hrs here!
I graduated Dec 15, 2018 from UAB Cum Laude with a 3.67 GPA!
37 years ago I blew my 1st opportunity @ College and my folks :greedy:tuition "up in smoke literally!":drink: LOL
37 years later a second, "Window of Opportunity" opened and I was able to handle it this time by the grace of God!
I'm a grateful and humble soul for the 2nd chance.:ARMS1::sun_smiley:
