Makes you wonder how it started. I must assume the dirt washed off the rock instead of a tree just growing on a rock. Makes you wonder.A little bit of my world.
The wife & I took this pic a few years back in a local walking park...thought it spoke volumes.
This tree encountered and overcame some "Rocky Obstacles", yet found a way to...PREVAIL & LIVE!
Can anybody relate?

Before I jump in the buggy...I'm in deep reflection on my last day of Social Work Internship @ Impact Family Counseling.
I spent almost 500 hrs here!
I graduated Dec 15, 2018 from UAB Cum Laude with a 3.67 GPA!
37 years ago I blew my 1st opportunity @ College and my folkstuition "up in smoke literally!"
LOL
37 years later a second, "Window of Opportunity" opened and I was able to handle it this time by the grace of God!
I'm a grateful and humble soul for the 2nd chance.

I see what you did there! It sounds like "grace is truly amazing!"
I cut the notch kinda big, and thought I didn't quite cut through it. I needed the pry bar to realize I was fighting the friction it takes to push a 200lb wedge of wood out. 42" bar.Nice work, don't get to cut many that size.
Funny what you see looking at pictures.
Here's part of one of yours, look at all those chips, had to wedge/pry that bad boy over lol.

Hope to see some video of that one for sure.Got the banshee done and fired up yesterday, have been heat cycling the engine a bunch of times along with getting a safe tune to test. Also put a new chain and changed the gearing today, he is going to bring me the plastics and a few little things tomorrow, not sure when I will get a chance to test and tune, the forecast isn’t looking good!
