A little bit of my world.
The wife & I took this pic a few years back in a local walking park...thought it spoke volumes.
This tree encountered and overcame some "Rocky Obstacles", yet found a way to...PREVAIL & LIVE!
Can anybody relate?:clap::dancer2:

Makes you wonder how it started. I must assume the dirt washed off the rock instead of a tree just growing on a rock. Makes you wonder.

Before I jump in the buggy...I'm in deep reflection on my last day of Social Work Internship @ Impact Family Counseling.
I spent almost 500 hrs here!
I graduated Dec 15, 2018 from UAB Cum Laude with a 3.67 GPA!
37 years ago I blew my 1st opportunity @ College and my folks :greedy:tuition "up in smoke literally!":drink: LOL
37 years later a second, "Window of Opportunity" opened and I was able to handle it this time by the grace of God!
I'm a grateful and humble soul for the 2nd chance.:ARMS1::sun_smiley:

Praise be to God.
I burnt my chance at the free college in 88', been going to the school of hard knocks ever since, still paying on it, so much so I get calls nearly every day telling me I can consolidate my student loans :icon_tfno::jaja-no:.
Thanks for sharing:beer-toast1:.

Nice work, don't get to cut many that size.
Funny what you see looking at pictures.
Here's part of one of yours, look at all those chips, had to wedge/pry that bad boy over lol.

I cut the notch kinda big, and thought I didn't quite cut through it. I needed the pry bar to realize I was fighting the friction it takes to push a 200lb wedge of wood out. 42" bar.

Got the banshee done and fired up yesterday, have been heat cycling the engine a bunch of times along with getting a safe tune to test. Also put a new chain and changed the gearing today, he is going to bring me the plastics and a few little things tomorrow, not sure when I will get a chance to test and tune, the forecast isn’t looking good!

That happens, now you know how the bucking spikes het ripped out of the case, guys slamming wedges with them .
Humboldt notch can help with that also.
