Yeah, when you can put your hand through the cylinder wall, she's done!

I just need to figure out how I am going to get it to roll over 1 time to get the torque converter bolts out. Full circle bellhousing, only accessible through the starter opening.
I might end up yanking the oil pan off and torching the crank in half on the back journal to free it up. Not sure yet. Cross that bridge when I get there!

Is it bad of me to want to tell you that your an A-hole for posting pics like that with the caption "at work", while all Im looking at is broke chit and a boss that excels at picking his nose and farting?

When i have a locked engine i pull it with the converter still attached. Then use a wrench to get the converter bolts. Replace the input shaft seal. But i havent done one of those yet.

Thats what I might do. Messy as hell.
I dont know if I can get a wrench between the flexplate and block..

I've been working on other crap, but chipping away at this.

Engines too long to come out top, has to go out front.

I was thinking the same....here I am in below zero conditions, snow up to my_______and you go posting up pictures of beaches and sunshine. Keep em coming, they are downright beautiful.

Sounds like we got some of that headed down here to Iowa. Middle of next week we could see record setting lows in the -20's and -30's and with any wind they are saying -50 in wind chills. That is just too stinking cold. Calling it a Polar Vortex, think I'll bring a little more wood in the garage. You'll probably be seeing the same there in MN, Johnmn.

Great Lakes Navy boot camp 1970 Oct. thru Jan '71 the company commander put the radio on weather channel each morning! -60 to -69 wind chill. hadta stand at attention out side chow hall each morning til there was enough room for the whole company to go in together. watching ears ahead turn blu then white was all I remember from all those morning meals

Got a ‘new’ boat today. It came with a trailer, a 2 hp Johnson 2 stroke, and an electric trolling motor... all for $300. I’m pretty happy with the deal.
