My boys 300EX.. We bought it from the original owner. We added a few things to it. An exhaust is the last thing we'll prob do to it.

I'd go with you!! Sounds like a great vacation!

I'm glad you cater to folks like me :)

Sounds like a plan!!

That would be a blast of a vacation for me. The guys I used to ride with were a pretty rowdy bunch, we went up north almost every weekend.

We would ride all day and kinda bar hop, 50-60 miles hit a bar have a few, hit the trail again 50-60 miles hit another bar have a few, we would do that all day, at bar time we would buy a case, or maybe two, then hit the trails,, most times we would not make it back to the cabin we rented until the sun came up. Crash until about 10 am or 11 am, get up and go have bloodys & breakfast then do it all over again.

I dont encourage drinking & riding, however I was a little younger then and took more risks.... there was 6-8 of us most of the time, and we never had one wreck in all the years we went up there, thankfully.

I've owned a few Polaris sleds, had a 800 indy storm, 500 indy trail (wifes sled) and a 600 XCR

My wife asked me the other week if I could take a vacation anywhere in the world where would I go? I told her northern WI and ride sleds for a week, maybe two. Stay in a cabin, with a woodstove, have bloodys for breakfast and ride all day & all night....

She said I was nuts for not waiting to go to beach.... :)

My parents have a place with a wood stove near webster wi which is in northern wi. Let me know when you are planning your visit

I might have to take you up on that, not sure it would be this winter though.

What county is Webster in? We rode a lot in Bayfield county. They have or had some really nice trails, less traffic then over by eagle river or minocqua.

Webster is in Burnett county. About 45 minutes south west of Hayward. Great area and lots to do and see. Lots of good AS guys up that way too.

Andy, what drives the pumps?

Pumps are driven by a 550 horsepower Cummins ISX. Driveshaft off of the transmission feeds a large gearbox/transfer case that drives either the rear axle or the pump. The big industrial trucks we build for oil refineries and Chemical plant's usually have the big Hale 3000 gpm pumps. Most of the city firetrucks have a 1250 or 1500.

You build Trucks ?

I work at Rosenbauer. We build fire trucks, close to 200 per year. I am the guy who takes the trucks and tests and calibrates everything when they are done being built. I run the pumps, foam systems, aerials, generators. Not a bad job. Been doing it for over 7 years now.
