wife mashed her finger on the wood stove.
:number_one: that's a good one. It'll cover up with a little nail polish. I heard red is in session.

I need to rephrase this statement I assemble Mack Trucks.
To be a hundred percent honest I do programing and fix find electrical issues on the trucks . ie cut wires , bad splices , bent pins , broken connection s, like this picView attachment 2164
I work at a Volvo dealership. I'm a "master tech"....whatever that means. I see bad wiring like that almost every day. It sucks. I really wish they would colour code the wires again like in the good old days. Did I mention I hate chasing bad wires? especially when there buried in snow, ice, sand, road kill or garbage.

Does your dealership provide you with the proper wire diagrams? Lately they have been changing every 3 or so months .
All the emissions changes and high speed data lines .
The printed wire ids are always a trick to read for sure . I don't think they are going back to the colored wires though.

I work at Expressway trucks. It's a pretty big dealership. We have 24 bays. It's been north Americas Volvo dealer of the year every other year for the last 7 or 8 years. Volvo has levels of technicians. Skilled, expert and master. I've been a master for 3yrs now. We go through some pretty heavy training. We have all access to everything. Guided diagnostics, All the new wiring schematics etc. as well as tech support via what they call "e-service"
I always find the wiring repairs to be a real PIA. It never fails when you finally think you found the wire and you try all the crap off it to see the numbers the stupid numbers come off too. Wiring definitely isn't one of my strengths. I'm more of an engine, driveline guy.

I tried real hard to like this post but I just don't have it in me. Looks like a rats nest full of frustration to me.
