I pulled to a complete stop to allow them around me. Watched them prior to this running roads at 40mph+ with the nut hanging on the back of the truck. I have been seeing them driving like idiots for the last few weeks, running stop signs, speeding, pulling into oncoming traffic, etc. This was something new on Friday though.

It seems that most times, people doing stupid things cause too much collateral damage to innocent people. If the idiot falls off and damages himself alone fine, but imagine driving along and having him fall off in front of someone else's car. They would be, or should be, innocent if he was to be killed, but his family might decide to sue them anyway. Or the guilt of causing a death because of stupidity you had no part of. The number of times I am passed anymore on double yellow line hills is scary anymore. Dad and I were talking about it seems like the one causing the accident walks away and the other parties are the ones to bear the brunt. Woman killed last week in traffic waiting on a stopped school bus. People pulling a horse trailer slammed into the back of her car killing her on the spot. I drove by the accident site yesterday and you can see they never hit their brakes. They all lived and she died.

We are gonna be there the next few days. Yuck!

We have been having these temps for months.
Local river is all but dried up, can't recall when that happened prior to this year.
Those are ~4 meter tall river banks & spill steps.
Creeks are long bone dry.

I just evicted a toad from under one of my firewood piles as I am lifting ground touching firewood pieces.
I caught it and carried to my large compost pile as it is the only place that may feature sufficient moist and bugs to sustain the toad.
I didn't wanna kill it nor leave in the scorching sun to die.



The firewood pile I am carting into the shed is sitting for 2 years.
The other one is seasoning for about 1 year now.

One of our "sitting rounds" was leaving trash behind everytime we'd move it around, ash.
Dismantled it for disposal and evicted a bunch of squatters.



Ducks for whatever reason weren't interested in the treats even though they had them multiple times before.

We have been doing well, my son grew 7 inches last year!!! Tired of buying clothes every 3 months. About ready fill his wardrobe with potato sacks!!
