Wow, that engine looks strikingly similar to the Cummins B-series here, which they acquired the rights to produce from Deutz. I am ribbed from time to time for having a truck with a tractor engine.

For those who may wonder, this is how a wasp eating & stung duckling looks like.
Poor little thing was "out of it" for an hour or so.
No, a healthy duck never sits like that!


I am happy to report it fully recovered and is back to chasing low flying bugs - hopefully no more wasps though.

Indian Runner Ducks are notorious to eat themselves to death.
They can and will choke to death swallowing slugs that are way too big for their own well being!

This duckling being a Runner/Mallard mix doesn't help either considering they seem to be even more food driven - hence hybrid "Tank" from the previous brood, and hybrid "Dozer" in this one.

If it'd make You happy I will give the duckling a fork tomorrow as coins do not fit into European wall sockets/outlets.
