How is it my brother even knows about this place and I just now found out about it this week. Talked to some people on the route and some that used to drive trucks know about Mcbee's. Excuse the copper mat mess, but wanted to try to keep them from busting the casings. Next time someone I know is going to KC I am going to throw them a few bills and have them pick me up some more.

I posted pics of this a few months ago when it fell. He had a climber come trim it back to a standing log. Bushed right out like crazy. 3120 is like Thors hammer…all the power - if you can manhandle it.

I've been wanting to ride 611 since I walked through her years ago when she was dead at the Roanoke museum. I seen she was running there but I missed her debut by a week when I was out there a month ago.

Mom's birthday is Thursday so I fixed lunch for whoever showed up. She requested pies as usual, so two coconut cream and one chocolate. Brisket, brats, grilled chicken, biscuits, potatoes and gravy made up the rest of it.
