Yep, I run them on every stihl that I have. Jason is real local to me, and we even sawed neighboring strips, so I support him.

Yea definitely ear plugs. The 440 isnt bad, but my 660 is stupid loud, it has the internal baffle removed. Nothing comes close to my buddies ms362 with a straight shot, that thing is a whole new level of loud, make yer ears bleed loud.
