Yea when the temps are in the 90’s cool water is a must , saw 3 Bald eagles but couldn’t get close for a good photo

1400ft above the green river. I wanted to drive the road below in the second pic, just after these pics were taken a huge rainstorm came in,, we were well advised not to go as the road get impassable.

The future being forced upon us.
80Volt , 775Ah , 40 cells , weight of pack 1870 kg , acid/electrolyte content 353 litres , it is a forklift battery pack.
Heavy acid corrosion between two cells caused the forklift to stop dead with an error message, but only after the cabin started to fill up with a burnt smell.
In the summer this forklift can run on that pack 16 hours straight, not so much in the winter though.

This huge battery pack has fallen flat on its face since that acid/oxidation incident!
It suddenly can no longer deliver power for two entire work shifts, 1.5 shift of runtime the most and it drops to 15% remaining power - which the manufacturer specified as critical low charge.

I think this nearly 2 tonnes of a battery is on its way to retire!
A grimm future, relying on batteries to power vehicles.
