i sure do like all the public land tho. Folks are great in west Texas…lived there a year. But nothing to do outdoors. All flat, no trees, and privately owned.

Finally got around to putting a house battery in the boat to keep from running the starting battery down too much. Non-insulated connectors, soldered and heat shrunk. Setup with a relay so that it is disconnected from the fuse panel when the key is on to keep the alternator from trying to charge both batteries when the main is running. Kicker has a small enough charger that I can leave it connected since there won't be too many dancing pixies running through the wires at that time.
