Yep..........

Sad thing is this is the cheapest station around. Locally it is .55c higher.

2019 was $3500 in fuel for the year.
2020 was $4000.
2021 was $6500.

On pace to blow way past 10k this year. Don't know how people who drive for a living can make a living anymore.

Greed is rampant.

Only $4.27 per gallon? A few days ago I considered myself lucky to find a station where the cash price for 87? octane was $5.69 per gallon.

Terrible. We should all just drive our fossil fuel cars into a lake and get electric vehicles. Everyone knows electricity come free from batteries. Makes sense to me.

Not only that, but Lithium batteries cost nothing to recycle and are good for the environment :cursing:

Can't like that. The lowest price I found this weekend was $4.84 for regular. Most stations here are $5.09.

Yezz sir. Cheapest place within a hours drive. Locally it is 4.89 to 5.09. And closer to *s-wordago I've heard 6.50-7. But I don't travel that way ever.

Don't worry, 50-someodd cents of that is gov't tax to improve our roads! That road $ is well spent and that's why my hometown had Readers Digest do a brief piece about how terrible the pot holes are up here!:cursing2:I've watched the prices (for "fun"), in the "big" towns (Auburn, El Dorado Hills, etc) the cheapest gas is $6.20+ right off the freeway, $6.10 deeper in the towns. Farkin ridiculous! Ok, rant over.

Ever see a $100-$150 hammer?
I ran across this 8ounce embossed Belknap Bluegrass hammer @ a pawnshop a year ago for $2.
I've seen em sell for $125 on fleabay.

I collect vintage hammers cause they are as smart as I am.

Exc condition, original pine pitch on handle.IMG_20201022_182256.jpg

Yeah I just saw an article about too many electric vehicles already on the grid in California that they might have electrical supply issues soon. It just keeps getting better and better!

Yup, fuel prices suck. Lithium-ion batteries are 92% recyclable. I just wouldn't want to have to flip the bill to replace them. You bend over no matter what. Vaseline is also a petroleum product, so the price will likely be higher also.
The Amish just laugh when they drive their buggies past the fuel stations.
