That's wwwaaaaayyyy too much work for a couple of potatoes. I used to have to take care of my Dad's garden and fencing. His was on the edge of the woods. When you think you've outsmarted the animals, a bear pushes right through it and eats all the pea vines.

I absolutely agree!! But my kids really enjoy growing and eating their food. So do I. It's a good family activity we can all do together but it's really discouraging when the deer decimate the entire crop overnight. Bears are not a big threat out here so I hope this fence will keep our veggies safe this year.

My favorite area is around Idyllwild.

The garden is coming along nicely.

Also got my rain water collection setup installed.

Got the woven wire stretched and stapled. Gate installed. Got all my seeds sowed. Potted plants tomorrow depending on rain. Top wires up to nine feet installed this week.
