Very nice Andrew. We used to have native pheasant here until the coyotes took over. Miss them days and the shrill cackling flushing they make. You sure have a nice new homestead there my man!!

thanks our population of pheasants would be pretty low as well if it wasn’t
For the game shoots releasing birds the red fox population has always been quite high but manageable it only takes one or two new land owners too move in
And ban fox hunting and shooting and it creates that in balance
But nothing like you guys with the coyote problem in all those states

An area on one of our main forest roads that's washing away - this is probably about six miles from the beach as the crow flies, but we get very heavy rains in these mountains.

The local forest service has said that if this totally washes away, they're not sure if they can fix it. Traffic would need re-routed on some of the spur roads, adding about 10-11
miles to some of the routes the loggers have to drive.
