15 degrees, powdery snow over ice, inside a business making a delivery. Got to watch a guy in a van try to exit a parking lot on an incline rather than go across to the flat exit. Everyone in the store just watched as he slid sideways toward my truck. When he disappeared from sight due to the angle where we were the business owner turned to me a said your truck didn't move. Don't get much closer.

"I wasn't playing around. It was just so slippery I wedged my car under a trailer on flat ground even though every other place in the lot had been treated and about the only ice left was where the trailers are parked and I shouldn't have been there." Idiots today.

Got a Howard Johnson Enterprises manufacturing facility here. These are semis waiting in line to pick up ice melt from one of the warehouses. All docks and the lot full with al least 12 waiting in the street , not to mention the number of pickup trucks and trailers waiting as well.

Gettin purdy cold up here, too. Gonna be an interested weekend.

UPS will pull thru tho:

And every year, every freakin year, when it snows up in the mtns here behind us, folks from Dublin think it's a good idea to take their 2WD's up in to the gap and get stuck and force mountain rescue to come save them at 3am:

Nice thermostat Tony! :D

People actually did pretty well up here in all this crap weather. Won't be above 20 degrees for another 8 days.

Was cleaning out a closet and found my old amps, @Wolverine

Old 1998 vintage Rockford Fosgate, the last of the American made amps from them! 2 punch power 250.1 and a 250.2 and an old 40.2. These were cool cheater ramps back in the day, rated power was 250 Watts, but one of them tested out at 832 watts
The 2 250.1 could be linked together at a rating of 500 watts and put out of 1500 watts! Brings back some memories B70F6915-E8E3-4B26-BE42-810BB998DC3A.jpeg

I've got a few boxes of that junk myself in my closet - NOS Clarion and Pioneer amps from '99 and 2000 and NOS Pioneer subwoofers from when I was doing audio installs in the off-seasons from firefighting.

I've got a bunch of NOS Phoenix wiring stuff too.

That’s awesome! I had a system with 3 Punch 150HD’s and a punch 75. One 150 for each sub, bridged into 4ohm, one 150 for fronts and the 75 did the rear fill. Those were the JL 12’s in a band pass box. It tickled your nose cartilage. I think I have a old pic somewhere. Best subs I’ve ever had. This was back when we sent out our rolls of film to get developed.
Looked like this:

Rockford made some good stuff!

Try them with American mustard next. Which, oddly enough, is made by French's.
Colemans is a bit on the hot side to enjoy with a corn dog, I found.
If ya ever find yourself stateside, try a corndog at a county fair. Nothing like it.

How did I forget to add this photo I took from 1995ish in Santa Cruz, California back in my film days:

Pounding my head against the wall on this one. They have him on video coming into lot way too hot, BUT they are going to replace or fix his car because it would be cheaper than dealing with a lawsuit dealing with them not posting a sign saying the parking lot was icy and slick.

Retired Asplundh tree service truck 500.00 6.0 runs great
Ac delete option they didn't want those boys hanging out in the trucks.
On the other hand the wv state road
Buys club cab trucks no joke
So all the men can sleep together under bridges.
I'll eventually get you a pic might be next spring but on my way home they are always asleep under a bridge there.

That jimmy, tho. Love that color.
