I was thinking this on the weekend, I realized that most of the donaters have posted pics but they are in the original Helping Tree Monkey thread. I was going to bump it but @Mastermind locked it. I thought about trying to copy and insert the pictures into this thread but the weather turned nice and I went outside instead...

I got a chance to fondle the case splitter this weekend. It's a very well thought out tool. Solidly put together.

I am waiting on a a Husqvarna order at work so I can get the last pieces I need to finish up the 288 so I can send it to Randy. I got it in pieces scattered in several boxes so it has been one of those get going and then oh crap where the heck is this part?! @Spike60 was gracious enough to donate a complete recoil assembly (even put a new rope in it, for those of you that don't know Bob he is really a class act) complete ignition with flywheel and all hardware, as well as an NOS low top cover. I donated bearings, gaskets, seals, new piston and cylinder, new AV mounts, carb kit, new lines, the filler pieces for the handle, and a new half wrap, all OEM parts. One more big piece I need is a complete clutch cover (Mike that donated the saw thought he had it somewhere but has not been able to find it) does anyone have a good used one that I could buy before I order a brand new one? Even at dealer price they are kinda spendy.
