New furniture for the 346. Thank you Leroy Farm & Lawn in Leroy IL Can you believe Pat had 2 of them in stock. She had a solid foot of various stickers to boot. FYI this saw started out from them as a hundred dollar "basket case". Not long after getting this saw i went back in to buy a 550xp during the Thanksgiving day sales and Pat had a severe stroke right in the middle of our transaction. I saved her life that day, and soon after started this benefit saw project. It is fitting for me to add this last part to the saw from Pat. Check them out if you are ever in the Bloomington area. She may have that part you have been looking for in stock. @Onan18 If you want to add the old recoil to the list, go ahead.

Here's a preview picture of the Craftsman. It was made in the USA back in 1985.

She's a little dusty and oily, but that will be taken care of soon.

P/C look okay, could not get a good picture of it through the exhaust port. We will know for sure once I get around to pulling the jug and taking a closer look at it. This should be one of the "pro" style setups where the cylinder and crankcase are separate.

I will start a build thread on it soon.

Model number is 358.356070
Serial is D3000037.

Has a 20" bar on it.

@Cut4fun would be a huge help here....he knows these saws very well.

Mr Onan18, I would like to donate, but I don't know pay pal, and I am too old to learn. Can I send you a USPS money order for Mr Adirondackstihl? Thanks.

Jack
Mr. Chin: The Go Fund me page is not paypal. Just enter your credit card info like a regular transaction. Very easy.
And stop calling yourself an old man. Lol

46cc 49cc 54cc in the small pattern

Any chance you have a p/c kit for this? Biggest one that will fit?

I was looking at a 3500/3600 kit but it sounds like it won't fit... cases are different between the 3000 and 3500/3600 on the parts diagrams I looked at.

Do any Husky/Stihl kits fit with minor mods?

We'll keep asking about possible top ends.......and one will come along. Heck, they may still be available on Parts Tree.

I checked with ereplacement parts, and nothing... except for the 3500/3600 cylinder only. I did find pistons for those series cylinders as well.

I will check Parts Tree and see what they have. I am going to do everything I can to get a standard plated bore cylinder and standard aluminum piston. I know these Poulans seem to do okay with aluminum bores and plated pistons, but I'd still prefer the other way around. There's a reason everyone else uses that set up.

54cc would be nice. I figure we should wake her up a little. If you can't find a 54cc kit, 49cc will work good. Just don't want to go backwards to smaller than original 3.0 cubes though.

Edit: Also looking for carb to cylinder intake boot.
