Ladies and Gentlemen, we have reached a point that I do not believe has ever before been attained with one of these raffles. The prize list has grown far beyond anyones expectations and to my knowledge it is the largest group of prizes ever. We are at a milestone, number 50, needs to be something special. I was talking to a couple of forum members this evening and we came up with a plan. For prize number 50 A FULLY rebuilt Husqvarna 394 XP ported by none other than Mr. @Moparmyway himself!!!!!
I can only take credit for a small part in this
There is more to this than @Onan18 is telling us .............

JOE ...............??????????

The Carburetor story...

Back in late July 2015 a guy brings in a Husq 350 chainsaw with fuel issues. Scott cleaned the carb and did a couple other things to it but the carb wasn't right. New carb is fairly cheap so they decided to replace the carb. Ordered the carb from the JRed distributor but it was backordered. It came in the day before the woodsmen's show we do. So we get through the show and are back here on Monday. Monday evening the guy comes in looking for the saw. Told him the carburetor came in Thursday and we were out of town and said that Scott would put the carb on tomorrow and he can pick it up.

Well he didn't like that answer and he was giving me attitude. Gave him a 2nd option of taking the saw and the carb and he could mess with it. He didn't like that answer either. Then gave him the option of taking the saw as is without the carb at no charge. Didn't like that answer.

I was so frustrated with him I said I'd take the new carb and throw it out the front door. A couple more minutes go by and the carb is flying across the showroom. I miss the open door and hit the 2nd glass door and it makes a pretty loud clank noise. But about 10 seconds earlier another customer walked in (Jeremy B / AKA Half A Hat) and saw the incident happen. Well the owner of the saw felt threatened and said the carb missed his head by inches. Then tells me he's going to call the police. Told him to go ahead and call them, but was thinking to myself it better be someone I know. I remember texting @Adirondackstihl to see if he was gonna bail me out of jail.

Few minutes later a state trooper shows up and then a 2nd one shows up. They talk to the customer outside then talk to me inside. Next thing I know he's leaving with the saw. The second trooper leaves and the 1st one is talking to me and Jeremy B. We were laughing about what happened and I grabbed a couple Dolmar hats leftover from the show and "tossed" them to the trooper and the Jeremy B.

Well that same evening the county fair starts up and my other brother is out there with his family. They heard that there was a couple state troopers here then they see Jeremy B and he mentioned something about me needing bail money. Now it's pushing 9PM and they try calling here but I'm outside with another customer that was in town from PA. I didn't answer the phone which made them even more nervous. They had to stop in after to find out what happened.

So that was a popular topic here for a while and I kept that carb behind the counter in case I needed it.

Now THAT is customer service!!!!
I have a box of 100 brand new carbs with the metering levers set wrong.
I would love to spend a week throwing them at stupid customers :)
I’ll work cheap.
I also do a pretty poor quality of work so you should probably keep me away from customers equipment until it is time to throw a carb, but.....

While probably not classified as work/employment,
I feel as though Together we could form an NGO with a similar mandate/mission statement. Guaranteed to rid the universe of pesky/ill performing customers while simultaneously culling crappy carbs!
I look forward to "working" with you on this endeavor.

Translation: I wanna help throw yer carbs...

How about a 50, 100, and 150 yard shooting match... Fill them with Tannerite
An OPE public service announcement:
If you haven't seen the bronco or the barn at the end of this video, you should find them. I'm gonna mix some up now...
