Puffball question

I was out for walk with kids and cme across what i thougjt was a puff ball. I i can remember they are solid all the way through. This one was not and had wavy thing on the inside.

Should be solid white all the way through. If not then don't eat it

That's not a puff ball.

These are puffballs. Found near my place,,the ones one your side of the rockys may have a slightly different texture.
Edible but not a lot of flavour.

Heres a puffball a guy i know found today. Its probly about a foot and half round. Never seen one that big.

Well i found out from buddy with giant puffball that the mushroom i found is called a horse mushroom and ya can eat them.
i would would never risk eating something im not sure of but at least i know now if i see another they are ok.
