I have put a new piston and cylinder in a 575xp and did the base gasket delete. I used Permatex Motoseal gasket maker between the cylinder and base. 24 hours later doing a 10 psi pressure test, the pressure dropped 1 psi in 2.5 minutes. There were a few tiny bubbles at the base. Do I need to take this thing apart and go again on my base seal over a few tiny bubbles?

You may want to install that base gasket and forget the sealer. The latest Service Manuals for the 550 XP Mark II and the 575 XP do not ask for any sealant to be applied as long as the gasket is there.

Wouldn't be a base gasket delete if he did that.
