long stack or stubby?
I didn't notice a lot of spitback, but I am usually watching the sharp end of the saw.
the carb is not exactly stock but we can test it with and without stacks up in Wolverine country to see how much it gains.

I would try both the long and stubby and see what happens. My bet is the long will be best.
