I have a predator 212 on a tiller. I went to use it after sitting this winter. It wont even try to start. I took the carb off cleaned it and checked for spark. It has spark and is getting fuel through the carb still nothing. I went ahead and put a new carb on it still the same. I sprayed a little starting fluid in the breather to see of it would try off of it. Still nothing wont even try. The oil is full the switch is on and the low oil sensor is plugged in. My next thing to try is put a compression tester on it. Im just wondering what else it could be. When Im pulling the pull cord I can hear a almost metal sound In the cover. Any help is appreciated

Can you check the flywheel? Wondering if your key isn't there anymore and so your timing is off?

If you pull the valve cover are your valves opening and closing as you pull it over?

Did you leave fuel in it all winter? If so, drain it and fill with fresh gas. You might want to open the carb and clean it also. Good luck.

Just reread your post. Disconnect the low oil pressure switch and see if it starts.
