Super Clean, or Purple Power undiluted, let it sit for 10 min, then rinse with water. I also use CRC Brakleen on the pto side for removing thick bar oil build up.

Scrubbing Bubbles aerosol

Don’t laugh, it works

I actually think I got the idea on here at some point

Hand sanitizer gel brushed on to evergreen pitch works wonders, on chaps and clothes too

Be careful of the stronger APCs, they can do a number on aluminum and anodized surfaces

Westleys Bleach White Wall tire cleaner.

Actually will brighten up Stihl plastic.

Spray down with WD40 BEFORE cutting evergreens. Fit, spruce etc.

A product call Pitch-RX, I use it to clean saw blades for my chop saw, and table saw. Works like a champ.

Non chlorinated brake cleaner, Mean Green, and GoJo citrus hand wipes for daily cleaning.
The tire whitening stuff does brighten up the light plastics.

I was just thinking about this last night as I had sap to clean off some saws. I went with WD40 because I didn’t want to risk fading with cleaners/soaps.

Total rebuild for me parts go into 5 gallon bucket with half gas/half diesel. Does not ruin paint or decals if careful. Use gloves, brush and air pressure. Works for me, use what works for you.
