Got this saw as a basket case. New crank seals, new LRB piston and rings, rebuilt the carb, new fuel line and filter. The cylinder has some porosity in the plating well below the exhaust port. Air filter is in great shape. New starter rope. New starter spring. No torn mounts. The holes in the fuel tank for the front handle were stripped once apon a time and are now tapped oversize. New clutch drum in 3/8 7 pin. The oiler will over oil a 20" bar on the lowest setting. The oil pumps on these saws will almost keep a top fuel car lubed! Saw starts and runs but loads up at idle. Has a lot of spit back from the reeds. I tried reworking the reeds and cage but still loads up. I'm tired of messing with this one when my other 4200 is flawless.
I have run a tank of fuel through it so far.
Asking $225 shipped in the 48.
Or trade for blue saws. Whatcha got?
