Are you as condescending and arrogant in real life as you are on here, or is that just your Internet personality?
Reviewing his posts, It’s easy to see he’s quite abrasive.
Possibly unintentional, maybe it’s good spirited ribbing, however it doesn’t appear that way.
Looks to have an agenda, like he’s trying to entertain somebody.

If it’s unintentional, and good spirited, it certainly doesn’t come through. If im wrong, I’m wrong. I have no issues admitting that, and will gladly apologize.
I’m usually a quiet guy, but I also have a low threshold for *B-S.... and horsecockery.

I’ve been good Mike. Thanks for asking. It’s been a quiet fall for me. How about you?

Busy as a one armed paper hanger! Trying to get out hunting and get calls for firewood, broken saws, car recall (Mustang), call repair (Escape), Well pump died (3 yrs old), etc, but basically everyone is healthy, so I won't complain!

Thanksgiving went well.

To let them pull my Well pump, I had to move about 50 Oak and Hickory chainsaw milled boards and take down a fence, the put the fence back up when they were done and move all the board back, what a PITA!

Red Oak 2' wide, 7.5' long and 2 + 1/8" thick, I put them on dollies and rolled them! Beautiful wood, but not fun to move!

IMG_2771.JPG IMG_2772.JPG IMG_2773.JPG Had to double check I was posting these pics in the right thread. Lol. So here's some porting pics. Didn't go crazy with the lowers on this 660. I feel sometimes im just grinding on the lowers jus' cause on this type of cylinder. This is my own experiment, feel free to chime in.

I like the shape on the intake and ex. Should be good on fuel and easy on rings.
True dat. This saw is for a local tree company so I didn't get too aggressive. Actually leaned it out from where it was set stock. Honestly I can't tell any difference from not hogging out the lowers. Throttle response is above average (.030 off the key) and she jumps to WOT in a blink of an eye. Tested in oak with a 32" bar (wearing a 7 pin) buried and could lean on it about as much as I wanted. Pretty happy with the results.

Have to admit it's a little intimidating posting up port work. But I started this cylinder today with the intent of posting pics. It was a good way to challenge myself. I never do sloppy work but I did go back and clean up a few imperfections after taking the first pics ;-) Damn camera can be pretty critical

I think a lot of it depends on the #s, but I think he is referring to the arch on the opening of the intake (rather than a flatter opening).

Deets, please correct me if I'm wrong!
