She didn't want to leave the hospital, but Shauna has to come home and be with our boys. It's an hour drive home.
Our 8yr old son, Landon has a soccer game tonight.
The boys help keep her mind off things.

Many times these serious infections take lengthy periods to over come, and patience is not my #1 virtue.
I am praying still for this dear lady, your wife and those precious boys. Cherish every moment with them, the days seem to fly away quickly.
I remember those days well, both mine are grown and in the business world today. I just didn't realize how fast it would fly by.

Shauna writes:
"Thank you everyone for your prayers, thoughts, and get well wishes. So far she is waking up a bit, she can speak a few 1 syllable words. She recognizes us but can't get the words out quite yet to speak to us. They are still pushing antibiotics to help with the infection. They will be repeating scans today to see where we are at and where we go next. We will keep you posted. Keep sending those good thoughts, prayers, good energy...anything you can."

Not a good one.....

"Jeremy...I was just told by the nurse that I should stay put, and possibly plan to stay the night. It sounds like they are talking brain surgery for her today. She overheard me talking about leaving"

The CT scan shows that the cyst/pocket/tumor thing is actually hardening and forming rather than going away like they had hoped it would.
