Never had anything shipped from out of country. Is it worth saving 20$ or a little more and worrying about it making it here in the next 6 months from China?

Thought about a flex shaft for the dremel I already have. Will I be able to reach the transfer ports to do any grinding on them

Didn't realize there was a U.S. seller. It takes 2-3 weeks to get stuff from china usually. So that's up to you

I've done several without a 90° tool. I've used cutoff wheels, end mills, and round balls to do upper transfers. You can't get them perfect, but it'll still run. A flex shaft will help a little

Ok maybe I’ll do the flex shaft for now. Local hardware store had diamond impregnated cut off wheels fairly cheap

If you get a fordom style copy cheap, it will be a tool you can use for a gozillion things apart from porting. I spent a bunch on a Mastercarver but for a fraction of its cost I could have a similar setup that is just as capable. Lots of good options out their, its.false economy for a daily porter or jeweler to skimp on quality but for someone not running.the machine 25hrs a week, cheaper units are fine.
