Yes I changed carb out with another 199 and cranks, idles, pulls out on topend like she should. I crossed the clutchdrum on the pinion worm and buggered it up , so got one of thoso on order. We will do a few videos as soon as I get that pinion

I did the same thing on one of my 346s keith , good thing those pinions are cheap.

The 550 and 562 pinions are much better quality than the 346 worm. Weak link on the 346

Finally got all the parts on. 199 carb with k24 kit and hole drilled over diaphram cover, 359 elbow with filter, the brass washer left out of stock intake, tank vent gutted, and heat shield under top cover

Nice! But I'd not use that 'winter' filter, will let a lot of fines through. Get the yellow mesh or the fuzzy one .

Yes for the 357 intake. Yellow mesh is # 537 01 09-02
