He joined

I have warned him against posting here.

We all know that there is no way we can keep this place drama free with Mr Snelling here.

It's not personal, but Brad has made more enemies than Obama. I'm not gonna waste all my time breaking up his fights.

Al subsequently did a 440-046 D jug for me, and it is a torque monster!

I believe he did some magic with the transfer ports instead of bridge ports.

I used to have 3 ported 046/460 saws, but the one that is the subject of this this thread is the only one I still have.

I swapped the 460 carb for a 461 (HD-50) carb, and the saw cut (in timed cuts) about 10% faster.

It was already a hair faster than my other ported 046/460 saws, but that carb change made it notably faster.

None of my other saws liked the HD-50 carb. I cannot explain it, just saying what happened!

You just have to swap the choke linkage with the 460 carb to get the 461 carb to function properly.

I've stayed active on a few threads.

Miss the lack of local GTGs, and a lot of folks seem to have faded away.

I think the GTGs really help to keep sites like this active.

Facebook groups are killing forums.

Simple as that.
Which is totally weird. A guy asks a question on there and gets 14 different answers, only two of which are right. He walks away a little bit dumber than he was. The way the threads are formatted, everything gets lost in the conversation and people post without reading all of it

Lol, "14 different answers, only two of which are right. He walks away a little bit dumber than he was." so true!

Zero accountability though. That's why they flock to it.
