Not sure I'm understanding the reasoning for taking a ported top end off and putting a stock one on

If I change the cylinder it will be the only nonported saw I have.

My 395 is the most mild saw I have and it's not mild.

I port saws for a living, every saw I have is ported plus if I want it ported again in 10 min it will be.

3" will fit nicely on the 064. If 2" is good.......then 3" is more better? lol
