Here's my 064 hybrid in the same log, with the same chain ran by both saws, on the same bar as the 390.
I haven't changed the transfer or intake timing on it either.

ok, so the 460 and 064 have 52mm pistons... does the 064 have a longer stroke?

whats the 390's excuse? 55mm bore makes sense vs the 460 that its faster. .... doesn't make much sense that the 064 is that much faster than the 460 based on bore size

The 064 is a hybrid 54mm I think?

Stihl's have longer stroke than Husky's in about every comparative sized saw. That's why a 066 with a 54mm is still bigger than a 390 and closer to a 394 in Ci
