Truth be told, and to be totally transparent, I'm sure it was mostly my bad, initially, with the Country Gentleman. I only started smoking pipes a couple years ago, maybe? So, I was smoking them too hot and hitting them a bit hard at first. It took me a bit to get my cadence dialed in, and not heat things up too much. Slowing down finally, is probably why it's lasted as long as it has, even though it's cracked 2/3 of the way through.Just happened to be smoking a Country Gentleman with my all-day tobacco when I opened this thread.
Of those that I have most have been smoked multiple times daily for the last 3-5 years without any cracking.luck of the draw.
I did recently misplace one and was going to order another one $17 believe my last ones were around $12![]()
I did have 1 cob pipe that burned out quick. Like it burnt through the bowl. I read that every now and again that does happen, and sometimes they're just "defective".
