That was a pretty bland blend, especially for a aromatic. Starts out sorta OK. Definitely got the coffee flavors, but it was pretty weak, and went away pretty quick. Even after that, it was dull. Maybe that's normal for burley's, not sure. Didn't really taste the virginias. Definitely won't buy this one again.

My favorite burley is haunted bookshop. It’s certainly not dull. You should try that. It’s a good one.

I kinda gambled with those 2. The others, I repeatedly hear how good they are. Cult Blood Red Moon has me pretty curious, with how much it's mentioned.

If you like cherry and ghosted pipes Red Moon is cherry.
Uni flake I like.

Some worse than others. Cobs don’t ghost nearly as much. And if by chance it did. Meh. It’s a cob. Use it for other aromatics

For what it’s worth I only smoke aromatics out of cobs. I specifically have a single cob I use. If I can’t find it I will use any of the others. But I won’t put anything like that in my nice pipes. Not that I have any of the super duper expensive pipes but like my savinelli only gets non aromatic stuff. Just in case it did ghost up bad

Maiden voyage with Cult Blood Red Moon. Tin note reminded me of the cherries and syrup in chocolate covered cherries I had when I was a kid. Smoking, it wasn't near as strong as I was expecting. I'm working on my cadence more, trying to slow things down a bit. I think I'm going a bit too fast. Overall, I liked the blend. I'll be keeping it around.
