Same overall dimensions or just same total length ? Silver pipe looks bigger in diameter to me ?
If it is bigger in diameter I am going to say it's the better runner.

Spencerpaving (Brett) is really talented when it comes to fast non OEM custom cutty cutty machines. Really cool that he shows us his stuff's and thangs. As much as building a pipe would be rewarding and fun, I'd rather pay for the knowledge & experience of someone like him who has build more pipes than most have had hot breakfasts.

Nice that lil 80 I have would flip my 250 a** if I didn't hang over the front handle bars so a pipe on saw would make it a genuine lightsaber! !

I had three different sets of triple pipes for my snowmobile. They can make all the difference in the world when you get the right combo.

I had a lot of interest in building a pipe a while back, just haven't taken the time. Still would love to do it. I have everything I need but the gumption

Now here's the deal on little piped micro saws .Some years ago now at a GTG John Lambert,Gypo and Dave Neiger Aka Big Dave showed up with a couple of piped bumble bees .Then we got into racing tiny saws ,it was fun .Before too long most of use had 020 or 200 T's and those dominated that class .It really was a lot of fun .

I want to see a 200t pipe saw :b1:

I agree 100% , I'm not trying to take anything away from anybody. Just trying to gain knowledge and have some fun. It's the same with porting saws for me, I've done a few just for kicks. But if I really want a saw to perform I still pay to have someone else do it. Pipes would be the same, it's cool to experiment, but if I really needed a pipe to perform top notch someone else would build it that has more knowledge and talent than myself.

And there is this which seems to be very popular with the rc crowd as well as the gp guys who are swapping engines and chassis and need custom pipes. They are figuring out the pipe design, calculating diameters to flat steel. Seam welding that together with a fitting welded in the end that goes on a pressure washer. Pretty interesting, not sure if it saves time in the long run, but a cool way to approach it all without needing a slip roller.

Correct the silver pipe has a larger header dia and taper all else being the same....it was for a 140 huski racer...turned a wow pipe into a holy crap! Pipe....but I wouldn't have known without building the first one and then trying something different. ...fortunately it paid off....

Which reinforces what we have been talking about as well as confirms what the two stroke tuners book says. More volume leads to better power below the tuned rpm. I'm sure there is a point of diminishing returns, but it seems to be a common denominator.

Was that the gtg Big Dave made the infamous Oly/Mac 999 come alive?
